一般来说*范文中出现的因果论证法,假设法,解释法,对比法在我们平时练习的作文中式非常常见的:

因果法很简单就是,前后推一推就得出主题句了:

如我们要论证一个这样的主题句,可以用因果法来描述:Older people could make their own effort to help young people in daily life events. It is undeniable that the life experience elderly people owned are much more valuable and richer by learning from which, the younger generation could learn many lessons and avoid making same mistakes. Also, senior citizens do have more free time after retirement. Therefore, they can help do a great number of household chores, which could relieve the burden on their adult children, many of whom have both their careers to develop and their own families top provide for.

 

假设法的理论就是我之前在文章中间分析的:一般假设法的使用是在说明一个东西好,或一个事件好,就假设它发生带来的好处,或者假设没有它带来的困难,相反说明一个东西不好,就假设它发生带来的困扰,或假设没有它带来的好处:

我们要论证这样一个主题句,可以用假设法来论证:

Professors benefit from appearing on television due to doing so they acquire reputations as authorities in their academic fields among much wider audience than they have on campus. If a professor published views in an academic journal, only other scholars can learn about and appreciate those views. But when a professor appears on TV, thousands of people outside, the narrow academic community become aware of the professor’s ideas. So when professors share their ideas with the television audience, the professors’ importance as scholars is enhanced.(使用了3个假设方法把主题句说明的很清楚)

 

解释法就是一些词汇比较抽象,比较高大上,这时候我们要让它们亲民,要让它们通俗易懂,细节化。我们要论证这样一个主题句,可以用解释法来论证:

International Fast foods tend to be less healthy than home-cooked meal. Fast food is a kind of processed food which contains high level of salt, fat, sugar, cholesterol and is well known for its heavy reliance on meat. Such food always refers to junk food like hamburger, pizza, kebab ,fish and chips and some instant foods ,most of which are fried and toasted, and thereby not only lacking basic nutrients, but also containing large amounts of toxic substance. Therefore, it is the culprit of several diseases such as heart disease, obesity, diabetes and cancer.(把international fast food解释清楚了就能把主题句论证清楚了。)

 

对比法往往分为今夕对比即纵向的时间轴上的对比,和横向对比即不同事物之间的对比,对比法比较常用,能说清楚一件事情。再例如,我们要论证这样一个主题句,可以用对比法来论证:

The first reason is that many people consider the environmental problem as a future concern. Environmental reports often warn us of the dire consequence of climate change or energy crises 100 or 200 years later. As a result, many people feel that money and time is better spending on solving more immediate problems such as housing shortage and traffic congestion that on preventing a disaster that only predicted to happen in the future.

 

结尾段解析:

Anything which encourages language learning benefits society culturally and economically and early exposure to language learning contributes to this. Young children’s innate abilities should be harnessed to make these benefits more achievable.

经过分析,结尾段非常清晰的表达除了作者的观点,并且进一步升华,说学习语言不仅对学生有好处,并且对经济和文化都有好处。这种结尾清晰,明了,可以看出*对于结尾的要求并不是很高,不需要节外生枝,只需要清晰简洁的表达出自己的观点。

 

复杂句、长难句的使用:

Traditionally, children have begun studying foreign languages at secondary school, but introducing them earlier is recommended by some educationalists.(分词结构做状语)

This policy has been adopted by some educational authorities or individual schools, with both positive and negative outcomes.(伴随状态)

The obvious argument in its favor is that young children pick up languages much more easily than teenagers.(表语从句)

Their brains are still programmed to acquire their mother tongue, which facilitates learning another language, and unlike adolescents, they are not inhibited by self-consciousness.(非限定性定语从句+平行结构,严格来说这是个并列复合句,比较复杂)

The greater flexibility of the primary timetable allows for more frequence, shorter sessions and for a play-centered approach, thus maintaining learners’ enthusiasm and progress.(大量平行结构的出先,既拉长了句子,又丰富了词汇,何乐而不为呢?)

If primary language teaching is not standardized, secondary schools could be faced with a great variety of levels in different languages within their intakes, resulting in a classroom experienced which undoes the earlier gains.(条件状语从句+结果状语后置)

 

分析:仔细观察,会发现其实*用的长难句和从句相对来说不多,一篇250字的文章之中,差不多6句话,充其量也就一半左右,*基本上是长短句相结合的,通俗易懂,因此同学们不要盲目追求长难句,而是看看内容是否需要这样的复杂结构

 

*词汇及使用:

Educationalist: 教育家,教育工作者

Facilitate: 促进,帮助

例句:It would facilitate matters if they were more co-operative.

如果他们再合作些就容易多了。

例句:Modern inventions facilitate housework.

现代的许多发明使家务简单多了。

Adolescent: 亲少年

Inhibit: 抑制,阻碍,约束

例句:We must ensure that standards promote innovation and do not inhibit it.

我们必须要标准能促进创新,而不是抑制创新

Self-consciousness: 自我意识

Flexibility: 灵活性

Session: 课程

Exposure: 接触到,曝光在

例句:No matter what level of exposure you have, your lung
