在2014年的前四个月中，图表作文中的动态图考了9次，静态图考了2次，而在动态图中，出现频率*的是线图，其次是表格和柱图。流程图考了两次（1月11日，3月8日），地图题考了一次（3月1日）。
因此在5月份的考试中，考生依然需要重点关注动态图的语言表达和构思，要重点关注一下饼图（仅1月出现过），其次是表格，已经连续3、4月份都没出现了，当然也不能忽略出现频率高的线图和表格，其中线图可能和其他图组合出现。
另外地图、流程和对比图考生也需要关注一下，因为地图、流程和对比图的出现频率在逐年增加，4月到目前未出现，因此5月不能放松警惕。
大作文
大作文类型：在前四个月中单双边作文出现的频率非常高，而分析解决型则仅在一月份出现过两次，而简单的回答问题式的则没有出现。因此考生在5月的备考中依然要重点关注单双边作文的文章写法，当然也不能忽略分析解决型作文。
大作文话题方面，在前四个月的考试中，出现频率*的是社会类话题，其次是教育类话题。建议考生在5月要重点关注科技类、媒体类、犯罪类、环境类和教育类话题
